|
| Don't get hooked into a "tune-up special" that
some companies offer for anywhere from $30 to $65. What they do on these
"tune-ups" is almost nothing, basically they tighten some screws and
spray lube on the door, and then they offer to repair it and do the real work
after that for much more money. Most doors really need the repair with
parts and labor and will still
not be fixed with a "lube or tune-up special", don't waste
your money. |

Repair Services:
Residential
Key Benefits
- Garage door springs break every 5-7 years on average (depends on how
much you use your door - residential springs are rated for 10,000
cycles from all manufacturers). Buy replacement springs from S.O.S and
get free springs for life, so the next time they break you only pay
us the
installation labor and we provide the springs for the life of your
door.
- After initial purchase of full service door repair and parts, all of
our service parts we installed are then free parts
for life for the life of your door, just pay the service
labor and we provide the parts.
- A S.O.S rebuilt door makes a door stronger than it was when
it was new. Most all the doors installed by builders on new
homes are low cost doors because they are lacking alot of the good
solid hardware that would make it strong. Our experienced techs
will recommend for your door what it takes to make it right like it
should have been to start with.
- Repairing a door can save hundreds compared to getting a new one,
and increase the sturdiness and value of your current door to be
greater than when it was when it was new.
- A properly serviced door will also increase the lifespan of
automatic openers. Openers are not made to lift more than 10 -
15 pounds reliably. Properly adjusted door springs do all the
lifting, the opener just guides the door open and closed.
- Repairs by quality service technicians are key to reliable door
operation.
- Quality repairs at more reasonable rates compared to other
companies.
Capabilities
S.O.S technicians are all required to have at least 5 years
experience in repairing all brands of residential garage doors.
Residential technicians are also required to be proficient at the repair of most name
brand automatic openers as well. S.O.S has commercial
technicians that can repair the even broader range of commercial garage doors,
high lift doors, rollup doors, rolling steel doors, commercial sliding doors and
heavy duty commercial door operators.
- Residential Garage Door Repair Service
- We repair garage doors of all types sizes and brands. Our full service repair labor is
typically 60% more reasonable than others. How is that, you
might ask? Well, most other companies pay their techs from 54% -
66% less on a repair job, than what we pay our techs.
Our techs do not have to charge as much to make the same money as the
other companies techs. Just
give us a call, and we will get you up and running usually same day.
- Residential Automatic Opener Repair
Service
- We repair over 95% of the openers that are found in most garages
today. We carry the most common service parts and accessories on our trucks for
these main types:
- Liftmaster, Genie, Craftsman,
Chamberlain
- We can repair other
openers as well, as long as the parts are available.

New Garage Door Installations:
(Call for new commercial door prices.)
( See Residential Door Price Table Below !)
Shown above: 16x7 Standard Model with added designer windows.
Key Benefits
- A new garage door can really uplift the overall appeal of your home.
- If your current door has a badly damaged section, a replacement
section will function properly, but the paint and square designs on
the new section will likely not match the rest of the door
cosmetically. Section replacements by a door company, plus
the cost of repainting by a painter can cost the same as a new door
when you figure the total cost. A new door is usually the best
economical solution.
- Newly installed doors come with more comprehensive warranties verses
repaired doors.
- An S.O.S installed garage doors comes with the standard warranty of
3 years parts, 1 year installation, and 90 days labor (except the
economy 26 gauge model, it is 1 year parts 90 days labor).
- No charge to tear down and haul off the existing standard garage
door (except old one-piece pivot type wood doors).
Standard Pricing (we can get custom sizes as well):
Also see our heavy duty upgrade option for any new door
at the top and bottom of the table!
**** All of our doors come with quality commercial grade steel
hardware. We will not put on plastic rollers and thin hinges.
Any door larger than 8' wide comes with two springs for the correct setup.
Some builders model doors will come with plastic rollers and one spring, we
simply will not sell such a door to anyone.
| Heavy Duty Upgrade Option
for any New Door is Highly Recommended |
$125.00 |
The heavy duty upgrade package includes: Three
additional reinforcement struts so that each section has full strut
support, instead of only one strut along the top section. This also includes
the larger size springs needed for the extra weight of the
struts. The number one killer of garage doors over time is lack of
additional strut support on every section, this is why many of them will
end up with rips and tears in the middle over time. |

New Automatic Garage Door Opener
Installations:
Key Benefits
- An up-to-date automatic garage door opener adds value to any home.
- An automatic opener is a major convenience and time saver.
- Having an automatic opener will open and close the door in a more
controlled manor, thus decreasing door problems caused by manual
operation.
- New openers now have much better safety and security features
compared to the older units.
- An automatic opener can mean having a happier spouse, (if your
married).

same machines and same parts with different names labeled on the outside of the

are typically of lesser grade than these professional units listed here.
Our units come with solid rails, not the problematic 3 piece rails found
in boxed units in stores.)
